Meet the Owners

Willow Creek Farm has been family owned since 2013, currently under the ownership of Lucas & Chayna Petrocci. This dynamic duo has a deep passion for animal husbandry.

Chayna

“I’ve always been, and still remain, obsessed with horses! I’ve never know a life without them, and I wouldn’t want to!”

I’ve been around horses my entire life having been born into a horse loving family. As soon as I was able to ride independently, I began riding english, primarily jumping. At around 10 years old I started to pursue the western all-around events with my mother’s AQHA Quarter Horse. This lead to days spend at the barn, hours in the saddle, and 1 Columncountless rides with equine professionals that have shaped me into the horsewoman I am today! My horse show career (still in full swing) includes an NSBA World Championship, AQHA World Shop Top 5s,

Top 10s, AQHA Congress placings, numerous AQHA All-Arounds, Superior Awards, and a Horseback Riding Scholarship from Kansas State University’s Division I Equestrian Team.

I am always at the barn- you can catch me in action greeting lesson families, touring new clients, caring for all our equines, picking up poop, sweeping the aisle and when time allows, riding my personal horses!

My favorite part about running Willow Creek Farm is to be able to to invite new riders to my barn and share my love of horses with them! There’s something very special about watching someone climb into the saddle, and experience the magic of horses for the first time.

Lucas

A graduate of Kansas State University’s Animal Science Program, Lucas is responsible for many happenings around the farm. In addition to a full time job, Lucas can be seen dragging arenas, managing pastures, maintaining the property, and occasionally enjoying a Sunday ride!
